Polish enterprise Polon-Alfa Spolka z ograniczona odpowiedzialnoscia Sp. k. (earlier known as "POLON-ALFA" Zaklad Urzadzen Dozymetrycznych sp. z o.o.), has been engaging in research & development and production activity in the range of fire detection and alarm systems for over 50 years.

POLON-ALFA has a unique research equipment including a fire test chamber, which gives possibility for testing of fire alarm equipment in real fire conditions in accordance with the European Standards requirements. As a factory specialized in design and production of equipment used in many important fields (such as defense, power industry, nuclear medicine) POLON-ALFA uses highly advanced research and quality control methods.

The POLON-ALFA Company, beside early detection of fire systems, offers a wide assortment of instruments for measurement of ionizing radiation e.g. radiometers, radiation monitors, portal monitors, probes etc.

Since 2002 the company has the NATO NCAGE code and from 1998 ISO:9001.
